Just wrapped up another SOBEWFF in beautiful South Beach, and Miami did not disappoint! The weather was perfect, the food was divine (shout out to Joe’s Stone Crab!), and Jade and Todd got to join me! I had two main events: a dinner at Casa Tua and an Italian Dim Sum brunch at Cecconi's. It was a great opportunity to test out and showcase some dishes I plan to feature at the restaurant! Both events were so much fun and I was really happy with the feedback. Jade loved helping plate and serve at Casa Tua. Just like her mom, she loves to feed people! The Dim Sum brunch was a little like sailing unchartered ground for me, but it was really fun and interactive - exactly what I had hoped for - with little carts full of snack sized portions of some of my faves like pizza di spaghetti, chicken meatballs, smashed potatoes, etc. I'm fine tuning this and will be offering it on weekends at the restaurant. I think Vegas is going to love it...I know I do!
