Spicy Tomato Salsa


Makes about 2 cups
Spicy tomato salsa
4 medium tomatoes, halvedtomato(es)4
½ cup fresh cilantro leavesfresh cilantro½
1 garlic clove, crushedgarlic1
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oilextra-virgin olive oil3
2 tablespoons fresh orange juiceorange juice2
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakesred pepper flakes1/8
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepperkosher salt and freshly ground black pepper1


Spicy tomato salsa
Put the tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, olive oil, orange juice, red pepper flakes and chipotle in a food processor. Pulse until the ingredients are combined but still chunky. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Transfer to a small bowl and serve with tortilla chips.
