Yeah....I entered "Giada Delaurentiis Everyday Italian" on Fancast.com and they have full episodes of Everyday Italian there to watch in streaming format. So now, I sit back, and watch my laptop on fullscren mode and learn how to cook like Giada, and I can do it anytime. Then I adjust her recipes to suit my budget and food availability, and voila...now I'm an Italian Bum Gourmet!!!! It's like I get to attend culinary school with the greatest chef teacher in the world....... you know who (Giada o…

Giada,
I want to know if your Italian family knows the cookie that looks exactly like a ravioli but filled with chee chee beans and chocolate and whiskey? Pich-a-deles? That is how we were brought up pronouncing the cookie name. I was also raised in a very large Italian Family and my dad was a Spaniard from Spain...so I have many recipes that are sooo good. I don't ever see anyone making this cookie on the Foodnetwork or any where else for that matter. I hope you read this Giada because I would…

Good Morning Giada,
I just watched your feature on the Today Show. I had to send you a note to tell you that, in spite of the Jenna Wolfe train wreck, you were so poised and professional. You really kept it "together" and it could not have been easy. You did a fine job. Best regards to you and may you have a happy new year.

These have many names based on local dialect - bow ties, cenci, angel wings, wandas etc. but my grandmother called them "nocca". Does anyone have a name similiar to that? If so what area of Italy does it come from. I've been searching for the correct spelling or name for years as I make them every Christmas. TP

Hello,
My name is David Caster. Due to the financial downturn in the economy and the freezing of credit by the banks for financial aid,
financial loans and grant money, I am forced to sell Julia Child's first two cookbooks which I hoped I would never have to part with.
They were given to me by my grandmother and have great sentimental value to me. But she was a woman who strongly believed in education and thought it was better to teach someone to fish than merely give them a fish. Thus, I think…

Did you watch Giada make her carrot cake today........ man that made me hungry. I think I'm going to substitute walnuts for the pine nuts... and use anise oil instead of fennel seeds, since I have those on hand usually. When I make my carrot cake, I use carrot juice in place of water, and I run the carrots through the Oster food processor to shred them. Giada gets all fancy with her star shaped cake molds... I just use a mini-muffin cupcake pan, that makes bite size cup cake sized muffins, and I…

Long ago, when I was a child in Chicago, my mother and father would get me a birthday cake from an Italian bakery. We moved from Chicago to the South when I was 10, so it has been a long time since I had that cake, but I still remember how great it tasted. It was a layer cake, with a creamy filling with tiny pieces of fruit and covered with whipped cream. My parents are long gone and I don't know what the cake was called, just that we called it an Italian birthday cake. If anyone has a recipe or…

What's the most exotic food that you've tried?
I just want to know if there are still people who try exotic food and like it. What exotic food did you have & where did you try it? Will you try it again? Here in the Philippines, there's a lot of exotic food that you can try. Most of the tourists enjoy it and remember these experiences for the rest of their lives. It's part of the charm of Manila. The food, the people, the sights... It's wonderful!

hoodia
How do I Know if it's Pure Hoodia? There are widespread reports of counterfeit hoodia products. Joanna Kleine a sydicated health products consumer journalist estimates that almost eighty percent of hoodia products are contaminated or counterfeit. It's impossible to know if a hoodia product contains pure hoodia and the active ingredient, unless it has been tested by an independent laboratory. After looking at hoodia ratings, health magazines, hoodia buyer's guides and…

hgh
When it comes to comparing hgh products, there is sometimes confusion. A lot of the confusion centres around which is the best HGH product; injections or supplements. While some studies have shown injections to be the superior hgh product this is far from proven. What is known about HGH products which come in the form of injections is that they can be dangerous. These products have been…

I always have such problems getting the longest life span out of my fresh herbs when I go grocery shopping... I've put them in a glass of water before and left them on my countertop but after a day or two they start to get slimy. Then I put them in the fridge in the bag you can put them in at the grocery store, but then they start getting soft and soggy. I've heard wrapping them in a damp paper towel and putting them in a ziplock bag would work, but I wanted to get some ideas from my "cooking fr…

Hi there!!
Like everyone ... I really want to start off by saying that I am a huge fan! I love everything you do! :) I am always tring your recipes ... and my fiance is always a huge fan of them too! When it's something he truly enjoys, he always asks "Is this a Giada recipe?" Haha!
Ok, so I am hoping to get a little insight on Olive Oil. :) What brand names (everyday & special drizzling) does Giada recommend? There are so many out there and of course they all claim to be the best! Haha! A…

Just a little note to say how much I love your show and receipes. I love that there are simple and easy to make as well as delicious. Some of the receipes on the other shows look better than they taste.
Also My 3 year old son loves your show too and wants to go to your house to eat! He loves to help me in the kitchen and prepare or "make believe" cut vegetables.
Here is a pic of him rolling out the cookie dough.
Thanks for the inspiration and helping me become a better cook!!
